Jerzy Kędziora is a world-famous sculptor and medalist whose works can be admired in New York, Dubai, Berlin, several cities in Poland, and now also in Estepona, Spain. All thanks to the Gallery One Art gallery from Gdańsk, representing the artist, which organized an exhibition of balancing sculptures on the golf course of the Atalaya Golf and Country Club in Estepona. Sponsors and strategic partners include two Polish companies operating in Spain: Dream Property Marbella, a Polish real estate agency on the Costa del Sol in Spain, and The Majlis, an interior design and furnishings showroom located on the Golden Mile in Marbella.
Vernissage as a celebration of Polish art in Spain
Last Friday, May 16, the restaurant Ventanas de Atalaya hosted an opening to inaugurate the exhibition of Jerzy Kędziora's balancing sculptures in the space of the Atalaya Golf & Country Club golf course. Among the invited guests was the artist himself, who talked about his passion and the technique he developed that allows him to create works that defy the law of gravity. The event was graced by a performance by Bartek Szopiński, 19-time winner of the blues "Pianist of the Year" title. Catering was provided by the golf course restaurant, Ventanas de Atalaya.
- The opening attracted many guests of different nationalities, the dominant group being, of course, Poles. The event was a great pretext for talking about Polish art, also outside its borders. There were also autographs and dances, and Mr. Kędziora turned out to be not only a great sculptor, but also an excellent dancer – sums up Tatiana Pękala.
The exhibition of Jerzy Kędziora's works is a unique opportunity to admire works that defy the laws of gravity. The exhibition will be available to visitors until the end of July this year.
